Do you provide unpaid care to a friend or family member? Have you previously been a carer?
If so, will you help Surrey County Council reform support for carers by taking part in their strategy survey?
It’s estimated over 10% of the Surrey population provide care in some for. Incredibly that unpaid work saves county residents and government around £1.8 billion a year.
The council knows Covid has added to the pressures of caring for another person. Together with various NHS health and care commissioning groups they are looking at how to improve services and provide the help carers really need.
Closing date for the survey is 3 January. Find out more and take part here. (It only takes 10 minutes.)
