Boost for local awareness project

Public libraries in Reigate and Banstead are helping promote Scams Awareness 2019, the campaign that wants everyone to stay safe and know what to do if they see a scam.

Tattenham Corner, Merstham, Redhill and Banstead are all displaying posters and encouraging customers to pick up campaign information.

Like us, library managers recognise the high importance of spreading the word.   

Throughout the campaign (10-23 June) we’re highlighting:

• how to check if something is a scam
• how to report a scam
• how to check if you can get your money back after a scam
• what to do if you’ve been scammed.
