There’s always a purposeful buzz about Redhill Library. Occasional chatter of children and staff quietly helping customers only add to the atmosphere.
But around 1100 on Wednesday 3 April came a special moment of peace.
At the latest Library Coffee Morning, meditation practitioner, Shalin Trehan, was describing an ancient way of reducing stress and everyone gave it a try! It’s a range of techniques based on breathing and emotions. Emotions affect breathing and controlling breathing can influence emotions.
All the coffee clubbers enjoyed learning about the method and taking part.
Why not book now for the next two Coffee Mornings? See panel for details.
At CARBS we're delighted to help promote the Library's coffee mornings on the first Wednesday of each month. We think there's a shared enthusiasm between the problem-solvers and the library's world of information and culture.
