After a full scale on-site independent verification visit in June Citizens Advice Reigate and Banstead has been awarded almost perfect scores for compliance with requirements for performance and leadership.
Like all Local Citizens Advice, we are a small independent charity and member of the national CA network.
Periodically trustees, staff and volunteers must show our systems and management are up to scratch. This time the process covered 9 different areas including governance, planning, financial and risk management, people and operational performance management.
It also included the importance of relationships: partnership working, research and campaigns and equality leadership.
Andrea Dunhill, CARBS Chief Executive, said:
“This excellent result is down to the efforts and commitment of the whole team. Week in, week out, year in, year out, people pull together to make us the best we can be for our clients and the community.
“We’re starting an ambitious growth programme so it’s great to have such a positive assessment. Our funders and partners across the borough can be confident we’re in good shape to fulfil our essential role.”
