Our fundraising campaign ‘Helping people to build financial resilience’ is being run with support from the Aviva Communities Fund.
We are aiming to raise funds that contribute to the costs of our Outreach support at community centres in our community, including:
- Merstham Community Hub,
- St Mathews Redhill,
- Horley YMCA,
- Horley Community Centre,
- Merland Rise Advice Café Tadworth,
- Food Club at St Marks Church Tattenham Corner
Our advice helps people to reduce bills to affordable levels, manage existing debt more effectively, and build financial resilience. This in turn can lead to positive changes for some of the most disadvantaged people in our community, including reduction in stress and improvement in wellbeing.
Costs for the project include the training and travel costs for our volunteers, and the salary costs for our Community Outreach Manager.
Our aim is to raise £8,000 towards the operating costs of our project.
