Our friends at Surrey Libraries tell us they from Monday 7 December they will be open once again for more normal browsing and computer use.
All safety measures stay in place but it’s a welcome development.
Until now our libraries have been open but only for Click and Collect, Ready Reads and some essential computer usage. No one was allowed entry other than for these purposes. The end of the second lockdown and move to Tier 2 this week made the new step possible.
This is up to date but librarians say check the Surrey Libraries Website before making the trip.
In the lockdown libraries won praise for a fantastic range of online services and enjoyments for all ages. We hope this continues even as life returns to something closer to normal!
At Citizens Advice Reigate and Banstead we share the values and aims of the library service. Read more here about normal times, a Redhill partnership and a special library staff member.
