A Mayday treat is in store for the Redhill Library coffee morning group. And all you have to do to join is turn up.
The theme is Stories
Stories in everyday conversations. The traditional art of storytelling. How stories help us make sense of things and reveal our values.
Leading the discussion is Dr Alastair Daniel, a university lecturer, a teacher who uses language to help children with behaviour difficulties, and a renowned storyteller. His method often involves puppets, masks, costumes, artefacts, rhymes and songs with traditional and literary texts.
So we shall have theory AND practice!
Everyone welcome. Free entry. Small charge for refreshments.
At CARBS we're delighted to help promote the Library's coffee mornings on the first Wednesday of each month. We think there's a shared enthusiasm between the problem-solvers and the library's world of information and culture.
