A record attendance on 5th June heard guest speaker Hazel Bate* introduce a fascinating discussion on ‘Balancing Life and Stress’. Hazel explained how anxiety triggers a ‘fight or flight’ type of response. If the tension isn’t resolved it can affect the immune system and make the person more vulnerable to illness.
