A new initiative at Redhill Library has got off to a great start.
The first in a series of Coffee Mornings with expert speaker was well-attended. And quite a few library users found themselves eavesdropping a fascinating talk about Personal Safety.
Librarian Ghazala Hayat was pleased: “It’s early days but the attendance was encouraging. We’ve got some really interesting speakers coming up and I’m hopeful we can attract a regular and growing group.”
At CARBS we’re delighted to play a part. It’s an opportunity to explain what we do and the different ways people can benefit.
Coffee-Mornings-Plus take place on the first Wednesday of each month. At the next, on October 3, the talk will be given by Dementia Friends.
