‘Tis indeed the season, and our friends at Redhill Library celebrated with a seasonal version of their successful themed coffee mornings.
It was festive entertainment all the way on December 5th.
As always there was enjoyable chat over teas and coffees. On this occasion there were also games and songs and Christmas nibbles (some kindly brought along by regular attenders).
And a special Christmas surprise – carols with singers from Reigate & Banstead Council.
The choir’s music added hugely to the party spirit, as did their entirely suitable red tops and Christmas jumpers! Many thanks to them – and to the Harlequin Centre who made space for a purpose not normally associated with libraries (the times are definitely a-changin).
At Citizens Advice we’re already looking forward to the next coffee morning on Wednesday 9 January*. The theme is bee-keeping. As far as we know the critters don’t actually sing but they do work well together. As do we and the library team.
Happy Christmas to everyone involved.
