Redhill Summer Festival made its debut on Saturday (22 June). A sunny Memorial Park played host to local groups and organisations who provided music, food and competitions for all the family.
And everyone thought it was a great success.
CARBS Chief Executive Andrea Dunhill said:
“The relaxed atmosphere was perfect for meeting and chatting about local issues and our free advice service run by local volunteers. We were delighted to see several Reigate and Banstead councillors as well as the Mayor and Lady Mayoress, Keith and Helen Foreman.
“I want to thank the organisers and our supporters who gave tombola prizes, distributed balloons and played with the children while their parents talked. Several people expressed an interest in joining us as a trustee.*
“Also a special shout-out to Julie, Madison, Dan and Carolyn from Fidelity International. They volunteered with us on all aspects and led an impressive sales drive on tombola tickets (mainly Madison).”
