Annual Report 2015-16.
The organisation that gives Surrey residents a voice in health and social care has published its annual report.*
Citizens Advice Reigate and Banstead is proud to work with Healthwatch as eyes and ears in the community.
It’s our job to inform them when people have a problem affected by a health condition and are worried about the health service they are receiving.
We’re delighted they’ve recognised the role of our Healthwatch Champion. Janet Rimmer does a great job for our clients and Healthwatch through her genuine understanding of people’s experiences.

* They highlight 3 achievements in a busy year: testing and highlighting public opinion on sharing health records; investigating older people’s access to GP appointments; setting up a new community cash fund for local NHS improvements.
They also set out priorities for 2016-17: a louder voice for care home residents; patients’ experience of hospital discharge; early intervention in children’s mental health; improving GP appointment systems; making it easier to complain about an NHS service.
