Our brilliant organiser Helen was reporting a successful Banstead Village Fair on Saturday.

Lots of people were keen to hear about the Citizens Advice scams campaign and our unique community advice service.

Mayor David Powell supports community advice.

The idea of community was at the heart of things.

When Councillor David Powell was elected Mayor of Reigate and Banstead in May, he made “Love Your Community” his theme for the year.  Mayor Powell was among those keen to hear how CAB volunteers help improve the lives of people throughout his borough.

Some 30 groups took part in the event at The Orchard All Saints Church High Street.  Thanks to Banstead Rotary for organising the day and fine if blustery weather.  Thanks also to the whole CA volunteer team who made it all happen.
